Ash Dies of Cancer

Erica Ash, the actor and comedian known for her roles in Survivors Remorse and We Have A Ghost, died Monday of cancer, her family confirmed.

Ash was born on Sept. 19, 1977, in Florida. She attended Emory University as a pre-medicine student but pivoted to acting after graduating.

She began her career on the comedy sketch show The Big Gay Sketch Show from 2006 to 2008. She joined MADtv in 2008 during its 14th season.

In recent years, Ash had appeared in films such as Last Vegas and Fist Fight. She also had a recurring role on the Starz drama Survivors Remorse.

Ash's death was met with shock and sadness by her fans and colleagues. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Montgomery, and her two children.
